Rings, Spätburgunder Kallstadter Saumagen GG 2020
Disclosure: I have a commercial relationship with this producer. See my ethics and disclosure policy.
Calcareous marl, loess-loam, limestone. Straight away on the nose is a note of ground espresso beans. Fully ripe dark cherry fruit, charcoal, and graphite. Black cherries on the palate, full and ripe with silky, well-integrated tannins and no perceptible oak. A very nice wine.
