Friedrich Becker, Spätburgunder Schweigener Sankt Paul GG 2021

Disclosure: I have a commercial relationship with this producer. See my ethics and disclosure policy.

Calcareous soil. 0.9 hectares. Lies in the French section of the Sonnenberg vineyard. Ripe and concentrated black cherry and licorice aromas. Quite mineral, with perfect wood integration on the nose. Wood is more present on the palate, with lingering wood tannins and flavors of cedar and spice.
