Markus Huber, Grüner Veltliner Markus Huber Ried Alte Setzen Erste Lage 2023

Calcareous loess. The name probably comes from these being the oldest, consistently documented, and cultivated Rieds in Reichersdorf. Lovely peach and apple blossom nose with coriander, honeysuckle, and apple skin. Superb fruit and acid integration on the palate with lingering mineral notes.
