Friedrich Becker, Spätburgunder Schweigener Heydenreich GG 2021

Disclosure: I have a commercial relationship with this producer. See my ethics and disclosure policy.

Limestone-marl. Above Sankt Paul, in France. Perhaps the best nose of the Becker wines today. Best because it fully integrates wood, mineral, and fruit. Very compelling aroma. Also full and ripe on the palate with integrated wood. Powerful with tannin, it is not overwhelmingly so. Top level.
