Wittmann, Riesling Westhofener Aulerde GG 2025
Gorgeous perfume of peach skin, sweet nectarine, and apricot with overlying sweet florals like honeysuckle and jasmine. Somehow, more open-knit at this stage than the Roter Hang wines tasted previously. Deep and expansive ripe fruit on the palate, with an undeniable mineral core driving through to the end. A tremendous Riesling and best of the tasting thus far.
