Thom Wachter, Blaufränkisch Ried Saybritz Reserve 2022
Slate. Ripe and intense black cherry nose. Wood is superbly integrated and barely detectable. Blackberries and cherries support a lovely forest floor and earthy nose. Gorgeous balance of ripe and intense black fruit on the palate, juicy acidity, and silky tannins. One of my favorite Blaufränkisch tasted thus far today.
