Staatlicher Hofkeller Würzburg, Silvaner Würzburger Stein-Berg GG 2025
Yellow-grey weathered shell limestone with clayey loam. The fillet piece of the Stein, with a steep 65% gradient facing south towards the Main. Gun flint and salty sea spray hit the apple- and citrus-driven nose, then gave way to fine green herbs and white flowers. The palate is straight, mineral, and long, with lingering saltiness and acidity. Excellent.
