Wood influence, noticeable in this context, but unlike the von Buhl Pechstein GG tasted earlier today, this is well-integrated, adding to Ungeheuer's inherent smoky depth. Red-berried fruit and an expansive palate impression make this a step ahead of von Buhl's Pechstein in this vintage. An awesome wine well deserving of its +.
