Dr. Heger, Chardonnay Ihringer Winklerberg Hinter Winklen GG 2024

Where I most expected to find ripeness and oak, I find freshness instead. Undoubtedly, a new oak framing is evident here, but yuzu, white flowers, and pineapple pair nicely with the wood. Terrific tension and cut drive a long mineral finish.
