Fassprobe (tank sample). New oak, of course. Smoky minerals lie beneath a layer of gorgeous oak aroma—quite an intriguing nose. Cool, flinty minerals are present on the palate, wrapped in a package of luxurious new-oak barrels. Pechstein, yes. Dr. Bürklin-Wolf's Pechstein, it is not.
