Staatsweingut Weinsberg, Spätburgunder Gundelsheimer Himmelreich GG 2024
Muschelkalk (shell limestone). Terrifically fragrant Pinot nose. Open-knit and floral, with crushed flowers and herbs over ripe red cherry fruit. Baking spice and vanilla of oak asserts itself on the palate, but there's plenty of ripe, delicious fruit here to support the wood.
