Salwey, Spätburgunder Rosé 2025
Disclosure: I have a commercial relationship with this producer. See my ethics and disclosure policy.
Loess and volcanic soils in Kaiserstuhl. 8-hour maceration of the skins. 12.5% alcohol and 2.9 g/L RS. Pale, orangey melon color. Top notes of gun flint and smoke on the nose. Crushed dried flowers and fresh strawberries carry over from the nose to the palate, with lingering juicy acidity
