# Rudolf May, Silvaner Thüngersheimer Rothlauf GG 2025

From 50-year-old vines, 8 hours skin contact, spontaneous fermentation, aged in 70% large oak and 30% concrete eggs. Ripe, lemony citrus, savory green herbs, and a lifted floral-spice aroma transfer to the mineral-driven palate. Long and lingering saltiness persists on the finish. Superb.

Shell limestone and red sandstone, thus the name "Rothlauf." The Grosse Lage is the steep, south-and southwest-facing heart of the greater Thüngersheimer Johannisberg VDP.Erste Lage.
