Pfeffingen, Riesling Ungsteiner Weilberg GG 2025
Disclosure: I have a commercial relationship with this producer. See my ethics and disclosure policy.
Wow. What a lovely and inviting nose of peach and apple blossoms, concentrated and ripe stone fruit with hints of cassis and mint. There's only a whiff of unresolved SO2, which is not unusual at this stage. The red-fruit, cassis, and floral notes continue on the palate with bitter green herbs lingering on the finish—a showy GG in its youth.
