From the producer's website: "The limestone soil and old vines define this Riesling." The name means "in the sunshine." This wine typically undergoes 24 hours of skin maceration, spontaneous fermentation, and vinification and aging in stainless steel tanks. A tightly wound nose shows citrus blossoms, wildflowers, and salty minerality, which carries through to the compact, linear palate. Balancing acidity lingers with minerals, citrus, and herbs. Top class.
