Bernhard Huber, Spätburgunder Hecklinger Schlossberg GG 2020
Weathered white shell limestone. A different aromatic profile from the Bienenberg bottlings. Brighter, more red-fruited, with an herbal component.
Weathered white shell limestone. A different aromatic profile from the Bienenberg bottlings. Brighter, more red-fruited, with an herbal component. There's a warming note of alcohol on the nose, which, given the steepness and exposure of this site, perhaps shows the sun and heat of 2020. Bright and concentrated red fruit flavor on the palate.
